Finance Analyst
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000
Location: Kettering
Working pattern: Office‑based with 1 day from home after training period
The Role
This Finance Analyst role is ideal for someone who has begun developing their Finance & Accounting knowledge and is ready to build on it. You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals and wider operational teams, supporting tenders with costing, pricing and margin analysis while building strong analytical and commercial capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tender and pricing submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and deadlines
- Build and maintain pricing and costing models
- Provide data driven insight through reporting, dashboards and analysis
- Work cross functionally with finance, commercial and operational teams to gather key information & data
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, revenue improvement and process improvement
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems
- Experience in an accounting related role or a degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or similar, or studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent)
- Understanding core accounting principles
- Confident Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
- Ability to interpret numbers and communicate insight clearly
- Curious & ambition with an analytical mindset
- Salary £28,000 – £33,000, depending on experience
- 25 days holiday + public holidays
