This is a fantastic opportunity for someone studying towards their AAT or a recent Accounting & Finance Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive finance team.

🕒 Hours: Full-time office based 8:30-5:00pm Monday - Friday

🌟 Temporary Accounts Administrator – November Start (Northampton)
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a friendly and collaborative finance team of 20, you’ll work closely with 6 other Accounts Administrators and report to the Purchase Ledger Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and data entry
- Matching and allocating purchase orders to invoices
- Creating and managing purchase orders in the system
- Calculating sales commissions
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Handling finance queries professionally
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are currently studying AAT or recently completed a degree (BA/BSc/MA/MSc) in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent)
- Have previous office-based experience, ideally in accounts or data entry
- Are confident using Excel and accounting software (Sage experience is a bonus!)
- Communicate clearly and work well independently
- Have a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Can reliably commute to the Northampton office daily
- Free on-site parking and excellent public transport links
- A welcoming and supportive team environment
- Valuable experience in a national company’s finance department
