The role will take sole responsibility for the companies accounting and report directly to the Managing Director and Owner of the Business.
Part time Accountant Job Responsibilities:
Management Accounts & Reporting
- Profit and Loss
- Management Accounts
- Weekly accounts review with Managing Director and Owner
- Liaise with senior leadership team
- Ensure invoicing is all up to date
- Cashflow forecasting
- Overhead reviewed and tracked
- Bank reconciliations completed daily
Statutory Accounts & Compliance
- Annual accounts completed and submitted to external Accountants
- Update fixed asset register
- Quarterly VAT returns completed and submitted to HMRC
Payroll
- Monthly payroll processed to include expenses, overtime etc
- Holidays updated on the Payroll system
Accounts Admin
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Credit card payments and management
Skills:
- Experience in a similar role
- Accurate
- Able to communicate accounts to non- financial management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- AAT qualified although not essential
