This is a temporary job with the opportunity to go permanent. This will be a fully office based role in Northampton. If you love being part of a team and you LOVE Excel we want to hear from you. You must have experience at a similar level to be considered.
If you do go permanent, there is the potential for study support towards AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA. This role will suit a graduate/ a current AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA studier, or a non-studier/ QBE (qualified by experience).
The offices are easy to get to via both car and public transport with easy onsite parking
Assistant Accountant – AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience). The successful candidate will have work experience at a similar level to the duties below -
Job duties include:
- Reconciliations
- Accruals
- Prepayments
- Intrastats
- Variance analysis
- Fixed asset register
- Journals
- Month end reporting
- Producing P&L reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing variants
- Making suggestions based on your analysis
- Working with complex Excel Spreadsheets
- AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience) with experience at a similar level to the job duties above
- Looking to progress your career or remain at this level, both options are possible in this role
- Confident on Excel including Pivot tables, V-lookups and SUM IF’s
- Good communicator
