💼 The Role - Accountant
This is a varied and hands-on accounting role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of finance and being part of a collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for key financial tasks for one of the group’s largest subsidiaries, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and internal projects.
Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Producing the P&L for a £250m+ turnover subsidiary
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns and quarter-end reporting
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Supporting internal departments with financial guidance
- Involvement in system improvements and ad hoc projects
🙋 Who This Role Suits
- Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant or QBE (or qualified for a while)
- Someone who enjoys producing a full set of accounts and working in a structured environment
- A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with Excel
