Payroll Manager required for successful & established SME
30 hours per week (Flexibility over 4 or 5 days)
£30,000 -£38,000 per annum + possible relevant study support

Warner Recruitment are delighted to be working on a retained assignment to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager for an expanding & profitable Northampton based leisure business.

The position of Payroll Manager is exciting new role for the company as they continue to grow the finance department. The successful person will report into the Financial Controller and work very closely with the senior management team.

You will have ownership of the preparation and processing of an accurate monthly payroll for approximately 180 salaried and hourly paid staff.

This important role will allow you to really contribute to the business as it moves forward with the implementation of a new payroll system and new company processes & expansion.

Responsibilities
* End to End Preparation and processing of monthly payroll
* Assist in the implementation of a new payroll system
* Liaising with site managers to ensure time sheets are accurate and meet payroll deadlines
* Processing new starters and leavers
* Processing SSP & SMP/SPP
* Dealing with inbound payroll queries
* P11D, P45's, P60 calculations & submissions
* Update, review and process tax codes from HMRC
* Accurately maintain and update all spreadsheets: for example
- Bradford sickness
- Holiday accruals
* Report & submit all applicable statutory compliance
* Administration of two company pension schemes
* Auto Enrolment
* Provide HR administration support liaising closely with management & external HR consultancy
* Administration support

The person

* Strong payroll experience
* Confident and friendly personality who wants to work in a small passionate team
* Good IT skills
* Working knowledge of Keypay or other rota based payroll software would be beneficial
