We are so lucky to be working with this business to recruit for a newly created Payroll Administration vacancy into their team of 9 on a temporary to potential permanent basis. The team are friendly, welcoming and hardworking and are so excited about gaining the extra support from this role.

Warner Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established local and growing business based in Northampton. Our client are currently extremely business due to their links with the logistics industry and their products being on high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Payroller Duties include:

  • End to end payroll
  • Processing SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Inputting new starters onto the system
  • Processing leavers
  • Allocating P45 details onto the system for new starters
  • Generating P45's for leavers
  • Dealing with inbound payroll queries from employees
  • Resolving payroll queries to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time
  • Inputting employee working hours onto the system
  • Ensuring hours submitted by employees have been signed off by their manager
  • Spotting any anomalies and resolving before the payment run
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Assisting your manager with processing the payroll

The person, to be successful in this role you must be:

  • Proven ability to be accurate
  • If you are studying towards an ATT (or an equivalent accounting qualification) this will be advantageous

Salary £24,000 - £29,000
